 Hugh Miller
For Hugh Miller, the auction business is a family tradition! In 1936, Hugh's father founded Curran
Miller Auction/Realty, Inc. A few years later, Hugh attended auction school at the age of 14. Today,
with help from his two daughters, Hugh owns and operates the family business that conducts over 150
auctions per year.
Since graduating from the Reppert's School of Auctioneering, Hugh has dedicated his life to
advancing the auction profession. He has served as President of both the Indiana and National
Auctioneers Associations and was inducted into the "Hall of Fame" of both organizations.
Hugh is also one of the founders of the prestigious Certified Auctioneers Institute. The CAI
designation has come to be recognized as the symbol of excellence and professionalism in the auction
industry.
